SUMMARY:Autumn Rally 2026 - Portmeirion in Snowdonia
DESCRIPTION:This event will run from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th October\, staying for 3 nights at Portmeirion near Porthmadog in Snowdonia\, North Wales. This is a good base to make the most of the great driving roads in North Wales. The scenery is lovely and Portmeirion is an attraction in its own right\, a unique village of Italianate architecture in a lovely setting on the estuary with views of mountains. \nThere will be tours on the two principal days to see more of and learn about the area\, plus some free time. \nWe have reserved all the accommodation at Portmeirion for the long weekend. Some of it is in the Portmeirion Hotel\, most is in the varied and very characterful cottages in the village. Meals will be in the hotel restaurant which is known for the quality of its food. All the cottages are a short walk from the hotel and a shuttle minibus is available. Parking will be by the accommodation. \nWe’ll have more capacity than is usually available on these events and subject to a modest supplemental charge there will be a limited number of places for single participants. \nThe price will be £1320 for two persons sharing a room and £660 per person for single entrants. DESCRIPTION:The Cameron Millar Rally for 2027 is based at the Headlam Hall Hotel just 15 mins off the A1M to the west of Darlington. \nThe hotel has 39 rooms\, all allocated to the rally\, safe parking and extensive grounds.  There is a small pool and a spa for those inclined. \nThe rooms are in a number of buildings all just a moments walk from reception\, some in the main house (stairs and no lift). \nThe hotel is listed in the Good Hotel Guide and and the Good food  Guide! \n       \nA Lux Room\nThe first days drive takes us onto the Northern Pennines and day two into the North Yorks Moors. \nCracking roads and immense scenery on both days.  There will be suggested routes. \nBilsdale – credit Oliver Sherratt\n  \nHighforce Waterfall\n  \nCost per person is from £655.00 in a standard room with en suite facilities. \nSingle rooms are very limited and are at a supplement of £150 for the three nights. \nSupplements for the three nights: \nStandard plus rooms £60 pp \nSuperior rooms £90 pp \nLuxe rooms £150 pp \nThe rally cost includes three nights dinner\, bed and breakfast at the hotel including pre-dinner drinks and wine during the meal.
