DESCRIPTION:The tour will start at the Black Barn Showroom\, A40 Burford OX18 4EX from 10 am for a viewing of cars & light refreshments. \nOwner Martin Chisolm\, a long-standing member of the Maserati Club\, will give a talk about the vehicles on site. \nFrom 11.30am we set off for the drive and Treasure Hunt around the Cotswolds\, enjoying the beautiful countryside\, finishing at  \nCotswold Classic Motor Hub Old Walls\, Abingdon\, Bibury\, GL7 5FF \nLunch will be served\, the winner of the Treasure Hunt will be announced\, and prizes awarded! \nMembers are then welcome to look around the Motor Hub site and leave when ready. \nThe maximum number of guests is limited to 30 people\, not so for cars\, so book quickly! \n The cost for this event is £65 per person! \nTHIS EVENT IS NOW FULL WITH A WAITING LIST

SUMMARY:Northern Lights is back at the seaside
DESCRIPTION:Nestled along a picturesque stretch of the Lancashire coastline\, Lytham St Annes has an expansive sandy beach\, a Victorian pier\, and the well-tended lawns\, boating lakes and pretty parks associated with the more traditional British seaside. \nThe Grand is a fine Victorian seaside hotel\, built at the end of the 19th century\, but recently refurbished throughout\, and now updated with a pool\, spa\, gym and wellness centre. \nThe Northern Lights evening will kick off at 7.00pm with a sparkling wine reception followed by a three-course dinner with wine.  The cost for the dinner will be confirmed in the coming weeks\, when the booking form opens.  Numbers for the dinner are limited to around 50\, so get your entries in quick!  First timers to Maserati Club events will be made particularly welcome. \nThe hotel has offered us a single night booking at an excellent rate\, as well as a special three-night deal to encourage those who wish to stay a little longer.  A variety of rooms are available\, with a limited number of sea view rooms. \nPlease book directly online with the hotel at the rates listed there\, at www.the-grand.co.uk.  \nLooking forward to seeing you all in early March! \nBOOKING FORM \n  \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:The 2025 Scottish Rally - The Borders and Ayrshire
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us on the 7th Scottish Rally for a weekend of good company and some great roads across the south and southwest Scotland. \nItinerary \nThursday 25th September: \nArrive at the Schloss Roxburghe Hotel just outside Kelso. Check in from 4.00 pm. \nThe hotel boasts a heated outdoor pool\, spa (booking details later)\, golf course and lovely grounds. The Schloss is situated close to the historic towns of Kelso and Melrose\, both lying on the river Tweed and each with its own abbey. Near Kelso is Floors Castle home of the Duke of Roxburghe and to Melrose\, Scott’s view at Bemersyde; worth a visit for the stunning view of the Tweed and Eildon Hills. \nIf you wish to stay one or two nights before we can quote and book your room. \nDinner in the hotel; dress smart casual. \nFriday 26th September: \nBreakfast in the hotel and not too early a start to allow the swimmers to dry out! \nWe have a drive of around 100 miles\, approximately two and a half hours to a light lunch at the Dumfries Arms Hotel Cumnock. \nAfterwards we will visit nearby Dumfries House for a tour of the interior with coffee and shortbread to follow (We will be split into four groups\, staggered at ten-minute intervals). \nPart of the King’s Foundation Dumfries House was saved for the nation by the then Prince Charles. It was an untouched treasure with the finest collection of Chippendale furniture in the world. There are extensive gardens and workshops where young people are trained in the skills required to historic buildings. \nIt is only a short drive from Dumfries House to Troon and your hotel for the next two nights. \nThe Marine Hotel was the headquarters for the British Open Golf in 2024.and just to the south of the town and close to the beach. \nDinner in the hotel; dress smart casual \nSaturday 27th September: \nBreakfast in the hotel. \nA circuitous drive to Culzean Castle south of Troon and close to Maybole (The castle name is pronounced ‘Cullaine’). \nPerched on the Ayrshire cliffs\, Culzean was designed by Robert Adam for the Kennedy family\, one of the oldest clans in Scotland – the oval staircase and round drawing room are astonishing. \nLunch at Culzean; at your own cost in the café. \nA different route back to the hotel. \nDinner in the hotel; our last evening and a bit more dressed up if you can manage. \nSunday 28th September: \nBreakfast in the hotel. \nTime to say goodbye! \nThere are different room categories at the Marine Hotel Troon and supplement apply.
