WANTED
2003 4200 Coupe |
 I am looking for top and bottom wishbones, a handbrake cable, halfshafts to the right-hand rear and an 18" rear wheel (see attached image) for my 2003 Maserati 4200 Coupe.
Second-hand parts are welcome. Can you please advise where I might be able to purchase
these or if any other members can help.

Maserati cars

I need to reduce my stock of likeable cars to a more manageable level and invite offers for any of the following Maserati models.
Breaking 1993 Ghibli Biturbo (non ABS). Many parts still available. Can remove parts and will ship worldwide.
1998 (October) Quattroporte IV Evo finished in midnight blue with beige interior. Mileage at 62K. One previous owner. MOT expired 23 August 2010 will be sold serviced with 12 months MOT. S/S exhaust, CD player plus all the usual options.
1994 (October) Ghibli finished in dark green with cream interior, just 28K miles. I have owned this car since 1997. One previous owner. Very little use.
1981 Merak SS, silver with midnight blue leather interior. Shown at the 2000 Classic Motor Show but presently in need of light refurb. Approx 60,000 Kms on speedo. Stored for 5 years.
1978 Kyalami. Presently undergoing rebuild. Body now solid. Interior almost complete. Finished in (new non Maserati colour) Dynamic Red. All parts there to finish.

WARNING TO SELLERS
It has come to our attention that bogus buyers are contacting members via email, perporting to be interested in buying their cars.
These emails, mostly in broken English, offer to pay for the car without even seeing it. I understand that they often offer to send a cheque for a higher value than the car – say £30,000 for a £25,000 car. Thinking that they have sold their car, unsuspecting sellers are asked to send the bogus buyer a cheque for the difference which they can then cash within 3 or 4 days.
Unaware of what is going on, the seller will then find that the bogus buyer's cheque has bounced and this can often take up to three weeks or so one becomes aware. So the sellers are left without the car AND minus any monies forwarded to the buyer. There is also always the risk of a fake Banker's Draft which bounce.
Members may not be aware of this possible scam. It would be good to remind members that they should always insist on an electronic transfer of funds by BACS or CHAPS before parting with their beloved motors. |
