| Maserati Club at the Silverstone Classic 2010 |

"Hi Henry,
Here are some photos from the "Silverstone Classic Maserati Club Display" area, thought you would like to see how much space on the "Tarmac" we had
this year. This year, the Club display area was sited behind the Medical Centre, best show space we have ever had at this meeting.
The photos of all the Club Cars, among others, are where we were all waiting to go onto the "Wellington" Straight, to go under the bridge & join the main Circuit, to do our 3 laps on the "Grand Prix Bridge Circuit" at Sunday lunch time, around 1:30 pm.
It was a Classic Cars Parade drive around the full GP Bridge Circuit, in the lead were the Maserati Club Cars, as Maserati UK were one of the Main Sponsors of the event, so we went first, followed by Lamborghini, then the Cobras, and then the rest of the representative marques, which we never saw again.
The drive was fabulous, although I have done it before in my car, it was during a Silverstone Racing Club event, and not in front of thousands of people watching our every move. We all went rather fast, and I can only remember looking at the speedometer once & that was on Hangar Straight, doing 110 mph in 5th gear!!!
I managed to pass a few people, but no one complained after when we got back to the display area, so I think they were rather proud to see one of us " going for it" as the saying is.
I was never passed by any other car, so I think we all put up a great show that day, all I remember is seeing hundred's of flash lights going off as we passed the stands, brilliant!!!
