At the 2006 Paris Motor Show, Maserati celebrated winning the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturers' Cup, by launching a limited edition model of the GranSport. It was also a tribute to the enormous success enjoyed by the GranSport, the maximum expression of the coupé concept designed by Giugiaro.

The name “Contemporary Classic” is inspired by the car’s style, an icon for Italian design which has become an instant classic. It combines excellent dynamic handling with top level comfort.

Few models from the recent past have been able to encapsulate the Maserati marque and its values as much as the GranSport.

Elegance matched with sportiness is the key to the Maserati GranSport success: today, with the “Contemporary Classic” equipment, a full leather interior with stylish piping surrounding seats and dashboard is combined with other chic touches, such as light blue instruments with a vintage look and a full leather steering wheel.

Four selections of exterior and interior colours are available for the GranSport Contemporary Classic.

At the 2006 Paris Motor Show, Maserati presented a new interior finish to the GranSport to celebrate the success of the vehicle designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.

Few models from the recent past have been able to encapsulate the Maserati marque and its values as much as the GranSport.

Its growing success convinced the 'Casa del Tridente' of the need to develop a special celebrate the vehicle with a special 'Contemporary Classic' interior created to celebrate the avant-garde style of a vehicle that has become an icon, an instant classic.

This version of the GranSport was conceived to highlight Maserati's elegance and class, from the all-leather interior to the vintage instrumentation.
